Sek Core Refinement Method

Refinement Method Ranking: D

Description:

The Sek Core Refinement Method harnesses the solar absorption, agility, sharp senses, and power of the Sek, granting practitioners various power related to the sun.

Pathways:

Stage One: Sunbound Awakening

To begin refinement, the practitioner must acquire and refine 15 Sek cores. The refinement process requires exposure to direct sunlight for 6 continuous hours, during which the core’s mana will integrate into the practitioner’s body.

Path Options:

Path One: Solar Sentinel

Abilities & Effects:

  • Gains the ability to absorb sunlight and store sun mana, slightly increasing stamina during the day.

  • Can release small solar bursts, dealing light-based damage in melee range, using stored mana.

  • Strength increase by 2x when in direct sunlight.

Drawbacks:

  • Strength boost does not work at night or in areas without sunlight.

  • Requires daily solar absorption, going without weakens the body significantly.

  • Overuse of solar bursts can cause depletion, leading to fatigue.

Path Two: Dusk Strider

Abilities & Effects:

  • Speed increased by 2x when in direct sunlight.

  • Gains enhanced reflexes, reacting to sudden attacks 2x faster.

  • Can briefly blur their movement, making it harder for enemies to track them.

Drawbacks:

  • Movement boost does not enhance endurance, leading to stamina drain if overused.

Path Three: Radiant Visionary

Abilities & Effects:

  • Gains enhanced vision, allowing the user to see clearly up to 4x farther.

  • Can perceive mana signatures, tracking heat, or mana.

  • Can glow at will.

Drawbacks:

  • Requires stamina to stay glowing.

Path Four: Solar Predator

Abilities & Effects:

  • When absorbing solar mana, reaction speed increases by 3x.

  • Gains the ability to store sunlight and release it as a short-range blinding flash once per 6 turns.

  • Sharpens all senses by 3x.

Drawbacks:

  • Stored sunlight must be released regularly, failure to do so results in minor burnout.
