Description:

The Lok Core Refinement Method grants practitioners moon mana absorption, heightened agility, invisibility, and enhanced senses, mirroring the abilities of the Lok. By refining Lok cores, users gain increased stealth, night vision, and a stronger connection to the moon.


Pathways:

Stage One: Moon Baptism

To begin refinement, the practitioner must acquire and refine 15 Lok cores. The refinement process requires meditation under the moonlight for at least six hours, absorbing its mana while maintaining absolute stillness.


Path Options:

Path One: Lunar Phantom

Abilities & Effects:

  • Gains the ability to turn invisible for up to 3 turns, with a 5-turn cooldown.

  • Movement speed increases by 3x in low-light environments.

  • Becomes undetectable to basic detection when in darkness.

Drawbacks:

  • Invisibility does not work in bright light or against powerful perception abilities.

  • Lunar abilities are significantly weaker during the daytime.


Path Two: Shadow Sprinter

Abilities & Effects:

  • Strength increase by 3x when in the dark.

  • Gains silent movement passively.

  • Can leap twice as far as normal.

Drawbacks:

  • Silent movement becomes useless in environments with natural noise.


Path Three: Nocturnal Stalker

Abilities & Effects:

  • Gains superior night vision, allowing the user to see clearly in complete darkness.

  • Can detect heat signatures and movement patterns up to 30 meters away.

  • Increases reaction speed by 4x when in the dark.

Drawbacks:

  • Bright flashes of light temporarily blind the user.

  • Perception-based abilities can overwhelm the user in crowded or chaotic environments.


Path Four: Moonlit Predator

Abilities & Effects:

  • When absorbing lunar mana, reaction speed increases by 4x.

  • Gains the ability to store moonlight and release it as a brief blinding flash once per 5 turn blinding targets.

  • Sharpens all senses by 3x.

Drawbacks:

  • Stored lunar mana must be released regularly, failure to do so results in minor fatigue.
