Description: The White Stag Technique is a Ki Technique inspired by the legendary white stag, a creature of purity, speed, and resilience. It was made for those that are loved by and love nature. This technique requires direct interaction with the natural world and the creatures within it, fostering respect, understanding, and symbiosis.
Pathways:
Stage One: To master this stage, the practitioner must gather blood from over 25 common deer, purify it, and craft a potion using natural ingredients from the forest. The potion must be consumed under a full moon to attune their being to the deer’s essence.
Bonus: Enhances speed and agility by 1.5x. Provides minor awareness of the natural environment within a 10-meter radius.
Backlash: The body becomes fatigued and less resilient to physical attacks for a day after completing the potion.
Stage Two: To progress, the practitioner must track and hunt a mature stag-blooded creature above D Rank without causing undue harm to the forest. The stag's blood must be offered back to nature through ritual, and only then can a potion be made to further the attunement.
Bonus: Speed and agility increase by 2x, and senses sharpen to detect hidden objects or creatures within a 20-meter radius.
Backlash: Prolonged use of the enhanced senses can overwhelm the person, causing headaches or disorientation.
Stage Three: The practitioner must gain the recognition of a living mature C-Rank or above stag by proving their respect for nature. This involves spending time protecting the forest or aiding its creatures. Only a stag that willingly approaches can grant the necessary essence for the next step.
Bonus: Gains the ability to sprint with near-silent footsteps and heightened reflexes, allowing for quick reactions. Awareness radius extends to 50 meters and have a keen relationship with nature and creatures of nature, making them more friendly.
Backlash: Failing to maintain harmony with nature weakens the practitioner’s abilities until they restore balance.
Stage Four: The person must observe and learn the habits of a white stag, a rare and elusive creature. This involves tracking it, mimicking its movements, and learning it's ways, becoming one like it. Only then can they extract the essence of the white stag and consume it.
Bonus: Gains 2x speed and a unique burst ability, allowing a momentary dash that doubles movement speed. Can sense impending threats within the environment regardless of distance. They also have innate purity, making them immune to all C Rank and below alignments.
Backlash: Overuse of the burst ability leads to exhaustion and a temporary loss of balance.
Stage Five: The practitioner must complete a sacred trial, such as defending the forest from invaders or guiding lost travelers. Upon success, the white stag will bestow its mark, permanently enhancing the practitioner’s connection to nature.
Bonus: Gains the ability to temporarily blend into the environment, becoming one with nature within 50-meters and able to control all aspects of it. Speed and reflexes increase by 2x.
Backlash: Using the fusion ability drains mana and stamina significantly, leaving the practitioner vulnerable after prolonged use.
Final Stage: To master the final stage, the practitioner must merge their soul with the white stag’s spirit through a sacred ritual. This requires gathering rare forest materials and performing the ritual under a celestial event.
Bonus: Gains the ability to summon a spectral white stag that exist on the level of a soul, defending or attacking the soul. While the stag the using is purified from evil.
Backlash: Summoning the stag drains a significant amount of energy.
